Privacy, in clear language.
Your Element collects only the information needed to provide a requested resource, calculate an on-page result, process an order, or deliver a purchased product.
Information you choose to provide
Email signup forms may collect your email address, optional birth year, quiz element, requested resource, consent, and campaign source. Paid BaZi orders may collect a preferred name, email, birth date, recorded birth time and its source, birth place, traditional calculation sex, your chosen focus, and a question for the reading.
How information is used
Newsletter information is used to deliver a requested resource and occasional Your Element emails. Paid-order information is used only to verify, prepare, quality-check, deliver, correct, and support that order. Detailed birth information is not added to the general newsletter database or analytics.
Payments and service providers
PayPal processes checkout and provides a verified order reference, product, amount, currency, and—when available—payer email. Formspree currently receives website and delivery forms. Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate analytics. Buttondown may be used for consented newsletters when configured. Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms.
Calculators and analytics
The free chart tools use submitted birth inputs to calculate the result shown in the current interaction. The site does not intentionally send email addresses, full birth details, PayPal order IDs, or customer questions to Vercel Analytics.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, corrections, customer support, accounting, dispute handling, and applicable legal duties. You may unsubscribe through any marketing email. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact the studio using the reply address on your delivery or subscription email.
Important boundary
Do not submit another person's birth details without their permission. Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure; avoid placing unrelated medical, financial, or identity-document information in free-text fields.
This plain-language policy is an operational starting point and not legal advice. The founder should obtain jurisdiction-specific review before expanding paid sales.
