Feng Shui Is Not Interior Decoration
Interior decoration asks how a space should look; Feng Shui asks how position, direction, movement, use, and timing shape its experience. They can cooperate, but buying objects or choosing a fashionable color cannot replace reading the room's actual function.

What does a practical review examine?
A practical review begins with how people arrive, where they sit or sleep, what they face, what supports them, and how movement crosses the room.
- → Entrance and approach
- → Command and support positions
- → Circulation and interruption
- → Light and enclosure
- → Purpose of the room
Why are symbolic objects secondary?
A symbol can hold meaning, but it cannot repair an unsuitable working position or obstructed daily use. Solve the clearest spatial problem with the least unnecessary intervention.
- → Move before buying
- → Reduce before adding
- → Use symbols honestly
- → Never sell a guaranteed cure
How should results be described?
Advice should be a testable change to attention, privacy, movement, or use—not a guaranteed cause of love or prosperity. Clients can observe whether the arrangement supports the intended behavior.
- → Name the observed issue
- → Explain the change
- → State the practical intention
- → Review after living with it
